Here is how to start…….

How search engines work.

Before you start dig dipper into the search engine optimization concepts, let me make you understand how search engines work.

Search engines have basically 2 major functions such as crawling and indexing. Search engines are like answering robots. The crawlers crawl the internet to find latest information where the indexer converts the information into data and keeps the data safe with them for further uses.

When a person do an online search, search engine searches the indexed data and returns the answer (here websites) to the query, but only those results that are highly relevant and popular among all the information available in the system. For that search engines have complex algorithms to determine the relevancy and popularity of a data to be shown for a particular search query.

I already have an article published earlier about the different steps on how the search engines work. You can follow the link to read it in details.
